Business Sciences
(BuSc):
The sustainability
vs. improvement of our way of living is more recently
seen out of the prism of efficiency and regulation
policies. Boundaries of different subjects are now more
flexible and it is no longer possible to ignore the
central role of business sciences on the domain of
natural sciences as a result of a social awareness of
our resources and environment. Climatic changes, energy,
tourism and job/work conditions, points of the Lisbon
treaty, are analyzed by business sciences.
Integrated in the general objectives of the Unit -
sustainable development of rural areas, through the
creation and dissemination of knowledge - the main
objective of the business sciences group is to carry out
research activities under the wide topic “Analyzing the
agro-food industry and market enhancing regional
development”. With this aim, the researchers prepared
and submitted some integrative and multidisciplinary
projects to get the necessary conditions to support the
activities.
The research activities are to be conducted in the
following fields:
1. Accounting and audit analysis both in the public
administration and in private corporations.
2. Economic and financial analysis of agro-food
markets.
3. Marketing research development of agro-food
sector.
